Job Description

  • Perform import & export trade finance transactions including but not limited to overseas remittance, collection/ negotiation (D/A, D/P, L/C…), L/C advising/ issuance/ settlement/relating operations…,
  • Carry out other processing requests related to executed and assigned transactions (e.g. Examining financial crime risks (AML), monitor and check payment terms, reconcile daily export/import transactions, handle incoming and outgoing SWIFT messages attached to trade finance operations.
  • Identify customer needs, provide information on bank products and services to capitalize on the business opportunities, to increase transactions and profit for the banks.
  • Track, record, report, and store transactional information and special requests
  • Provide a high level of customer service, offering answers and assistance with a smile
  • Serve customers by managing documents, information, and financial transactions in an organized, efficient, and secure manner
  • Meet and exceed bank service standards, greeting and acknowledging each customer to make them feel welcome, while complying with bank procedures and security protocols
  • Work with other colleagues as a team to complete daily tasks while demonstrating respect and professionalism, being, and supporting management as needed

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Good writing and speaking in English
  • At least 1-year experience in handling import & export documents
  • Solid understanding of Trade Finance products & operation especially Letters of Credit.
  • Comprehensive understanding of international trade practice, foreign exchange and related rules and regulations
  • Holding CDCS certificate is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, customer-service, and time-management skills
  • Highly detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic, strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency, high responsibility in teamwork
  • High self-motivated and committed, thrived in high pressure working environment.
  • Ability to pass a background check
