Communicate with customer via phone/ direct meet / site visit the mortgage or customer's addresses either to request or to provide or to verify information and assess the customer credit worthiness and provided information.
Complete loan contracts and counsel customers on policies and regulations.
Maintain and follow up loan records and overdue record, implement collection procedure and propose changes as needed to reduce bad debts.
Update job knowledge on types of loans and other bank services
Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans to develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services
Build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process.
Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
Good interpersonal and communication skills in English
Good math and computer skills
Proven working experience as a Loan Officer or Loan admin
Solid understanding of lending products and practices
Comprehensive understanding of lending regulations
Excellent communication, customer-service, and time-management skills
Highly detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic, strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency, high responsibility in teamwork
