[HO] Legal Advisor

- Reporting line: Legal & Compliance Deputy Director/ Director.
- Ensuring operations of Shinhan Bank Vietnam in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; guidelines or regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam, relevant Vietnamese authorities as well as the bank's charter and internal policies.
- Providing legal advices to BOM, branches, other departments in relations to banking business and operation.
- Reviewing Bank policies, guidelines, contracts & other documents.
- Legal research, legal briefing, legal systemizing.
- Other as assigned by Legal & Compliance Director/ Deputy Director.

- Education: Bachelor of Economics, Finance or relevant field.
- At least 2 years of working experience in legal advisor function in banking sector (advising experience in wholesale, treasury and foreign exchange area is preferred).
- Ability to identify areas of risk or weakness and suggest process of improvement.
- Being accountable, detail-oriented, pro-active.
- Ability to work both independently and in team environment.
- Fluently in both English & Vietnamese (in both writing and presentation).
- Bachelor of Law, Law Practitioner certificate is one preference.
