Job Description

  • To manage and oversee multi aspects of credit activity, including loan policy, guideline, internal and external report within branch level.
  •  Provides guidance, assistance, verification, checking and approvals/denial for loan officer transactions and other loan matters following delegated authority.
  • Check, verify & approve loan applications and documentation prepared by loan officers.
  • Responsible for all of the duties and responsibilities in the Loan Officer job description
  • Communicate with relating stakeholders (applicants, sales team, loan officer) to determine feasibility of granting loans
  • Site visit the mortgage or customer's addresses either to request or to provide or to verify information and assess to verify the loan application.
  • Update job knowledge on types of loans and other bank services
  • Provides exemplary customer service, compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines, assists with training, supervision and coaching of the loan officer to ensure the same.
  • Assists with loan office work and other assistance as requested.
  • Maintain loan records, conduct regular analysis of the credit control system and implement/propose changes as needed to reduce bad debts.
  • Follow up on overdue record, give guidance and control to the implementation of collection procedure
  • Prepares periodically reports ad ad-hoc report relating loan activities monitoring, compliance and other report as requested.
  • Meet and exceed bank service standards while complying with bank procedures and security protocols
  • Serves as a role model to loan officer in terms of customer service, professional presence and technical skills
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Good math and computer skills
  • Excellent observation and decision-making skills.
  • Be able to work under high pressure
  • Strong organizational skill, able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Excellent communication, customer-service, and time-management skills
